Hi, I'm Shamil

I'm an Airbnb host and serviced accommodation operator based in the UK. I started hosting because I loved the idea of sharing great spaces with travellers, but quickly discovered that the operational side of hosting was a nightmare.

Every guest needed the same information: Wi-Fi passwords, check-in instructions, house rules, local restaurant recommendations. I was copying and pasting the same messages over and over, printing welcome manuals that ended up in bins, and losing track of which guest had been sent what.

When I looked for a solution, the tools available were either too expensive for independent hosts, too complicated to set up, or missing critical features like guest verification and deposit collection. So I built CheckinGuide: the platform I wished existed when I started.

Today, CheckinGuide helps hosts worldwide create beautiful digital guides, verify guests before arrival, collect security deposits, and sell pre-arrival upsells, all from a single dashboard. And because I'm still actively hosting, every feature is built from real experience, not theory.
