Working with Sections
Your guest guide is organised into sections. Each section covers a specific topic and can be enabled, disabled, or reordered to suit your property.
Default Sections
When you create a property, these sections are automatically added:
Welcome - Personal welcome message for your guestsCheck-In - Arrival instructions and entry detailsWiFi - Network name and password with one-tap copyHouse Rules - Expectations, quiet hours, and policiesParking - Where and how to parkCheck-Out - Departure instructions and remindersLocal Area - Recommendations for restaurants, attractionsSafety - Emergency contacts and safety informationAdding Custom Sections
1Click 'Add Section'
In the property editor, scroll to the bottom of your sections list and click the "Add Section" button.
2Choose a Template
Select from pre-made templates (like "Heating", "Bins", "Pool", "Gym", "BBQ", "Laundry") or create a completely custom section with your own title.
3Add Your Content
Once added, click on the section to expand it and add your content using the block editor. You can also use the AI assistant to generate content.
Subsections (Parent & Child Sections)
Group related content under a parent section with one level of nesting. For example, a "Parking" parent section could contain "Car Park 1" and "Street Parking" as subsections - keeping your guide tidy and easy to navigate.
1Add a Subsection
Click the + button next to any section to add a child section underneath it. The new subsection appears indented below its parent.
2Indent or Outdent
Use the arrow controls on a section card to make it a child of the section above (indent) or promote it back to a top-level section (outdent). Only one level of nesting is supported.
3Collapse & Expand
Click the collapse toggle on a parent section to hide or show its children in the editor. Your collapsed/expanded state is remembered between sessions.
Pro Tip
Deleting a parent section gives you the option to promote its children to top-level or delete them all. Duplicating a parent also duplicates all its children. How guests see subsections
List View: Children appear as expandable accordions within the parent section, so guests can tap to reveal each subsection's content.
Grid View: The parent tile shows a subsection count badge. Tapping it reveals mini-grid tiles for each child section inside.
Reordering Sections
Drag sections using the grip handle on the left side of each section card. Drop them in your preferred order - the order you set here is exactly how guests will see the sections in your guide.
Drag-and-drop works with the section hierarchy: moving a parent section moves all its children too. Subsections stay nested under their parent when reordering, and visual feedback (hover shadow, drop zone highlight) guides placement.
Enabling & Disabling Sections
Each section has a toggle switch. Turn it off to hide the section from guests without deleting it. This is useful for seasonal information or sections you're still preparing. You can also control whether each section is included in PDF downloads.
Editing Section Content
Each section uses a block-based editor. You can add different types of content blocks to create rich, informative guides.
Text Blocks
Add paragraphs, headings, and formatted text. Use bold, italic, and bullet points to make content easy to read.
Images
Upload a single photo to show guests where something is, how an appliance looks, or a view from the property. Images are automatically compressed.
Gallery + Slideshow
Group several photos into one block. Choose slideshow for step-by-step photos or grid when guests should see every image at once.
Videos
Embed YouTube videos. Great for property tours, how-to guides for tricky appliances, or welcoming guests.
Action Buttons
Add clickable buttons linking to external resources, booking sites, or helpful websites. Customise button text and URL.
Pro Tip
Click the "+" button within any section to add a new content block. Blocks can be reordered by dragging them within the section.Gallery + Slideshow blocks
Use a Gallery + Slideshow block when one topic needs several photos. It keeps the guide shorter than stacking images one below another and lets guests tap any photo to view it full screen.
Use slideshow mode for a sequence
Best for arrival routes, lockbox steps, appliance instructions and photo tours where guests move through images in order.
Use grid mode for quick scanning
Best for bins, parking bays, rooms, views, pool areas and anything guests should compare at a glance.

Button Styling
Choose button style (filled, outlined, soft), shape (rounded, pill, square), and customise the action bar appearance.
Theme Presets

The AI Concierge is an automated chatbot that answers guest questions 24/7 using the content from your guide. It reduces messages to you and helps guests find information instantly.
How It Works
The AI reads all your guide sections and answers guest questions based on your actual content. It doesn't make things up - if the answer isn't in your guide, it tells the guest to contact you.
Enabling the Concierge
Toggle it on in the property editor under the AI Concierge tab. It appears as a chat bubble at the bottom of your guest guide.
Conversation Logs
View all guest conversations from the AI Concierge tab. See what guests are asking, AI confidence scores, and whether conversations were escalated.
Escalation Rules
Set up rules for when the AI should suggest contacting you directly - for urgent issues, bookings, or topics outside the guide.
Pro Tip
The more detailed your guide sections are, the better the AI Concierge performs. Add specifics about appliances, local tips, and house rules for best results.Read the full AI Concierge guideContact Options & Action Bar

When you set your property address, guests automatically see:
Interactive Map - Shows your property location with a pin, plus nearby recommendationsLive Weather - Current temperature and conditions for your property's locationPro Tip
These features work automatically based on the address you entered - no extra setup needed.Hiding Sections Until Check-in
Each section has a Show only after check-in switch. When it is on, guests cannot see that section until the check-in time on the day of arrival, using the local time at your property. It is useful for door codes, alarm codes and key box details.
What guests see before check-in
A short note telling them the remaining details unlock at check-in time, rather than an empty page.
What you see
When you open your own guide you see a "Guest view preview" label plus a one-click option to reveal everything, so you can check the full guide at any time.
Pro Tip
If your guide looks almost empty to guests but full in the PDF, this switch is usually the reason. Set the correct time zone for the property in the property settings so the unlock happens at the right moment.Troubleshooting
- Changes not appearing in guide → Wait a few seconds and refresh - changes save automatically

- Passcode not working for guests → Double-check the passcode is saved and the feature is enabled in property settings
