Property-Related Prohibitions

• Creating guides for properties you do not own or have authority to manage

• Advertising properties that do not exist
• Misrepresenting property features, amenities, or location
• Using fake or stolen photos

Illegal Activities

• Operating unlicensed rentals where licensing is required
• Facilitating illegal activities through properties
• Evading local regulations or tax obligations
• Money laundering or fraudulent schemes

Content Prohibitions

• Uploading content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Publishing hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
• Distributing malware or malicious code
• Posting adult, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content

Platform Abuse

• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or bans
• Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
• Using automated tools to scrape or extract data
• Interfering with the proper operation of the platform
• Overwhelming our systems with excessive requests
• Reselling or sublicensing access to the service

4. Content Guidelines

All content you publish through CheckinGuide should:

• Be accurate: Property descriptions, amenities, and rules should be truthful
• Be yours to share: Only upload photos and content you have rights to use
• Be appropriate: Suitable for a general audience including families
• Be helpful: Provide genuine value to your guests
• Be current: Keep information up-to-date

5. Guest Data

When guests interact with your guides, you must:

• Respect guest privacy and handle their data responsibly
• Only collect information necessary for their stay
• Not share guest data with unauthorised third parties
• Comply with data protection laws (including GDPR)
• Delete guest data when no longer needed

If guests report issues through the platform, you should respond promptly and professionally.

6. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

Minor Violations

• Warning and request to correct the issue
• Temporary restrictions on certain features

Serious Violations

• Immediate suspension of your account
• Removal of offending content
• Permanent termination of service

Severe Violations

• Immediate and permanent ban
• Reporting to law enforcement if appropriate
• Legal action if necessary

No refunds will be provided for accounts terminated due to policy violations.
